Alicia Angosto Guerrero

Dr. Alicia Angosto Guerrero is a licensed veterinarian from the Complutense University of Madrid, where she completed a three-year residency in Diagnostic Imaging, followed by an additional year specializing in Cardiology. She holds multiple advanced qualifications, including a Master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery of Exotic Animals, a Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging of Exotic and Wildlife Species, and two postgraduate certifications in Cardiology.
Since 2011, Dr. Angosto Guerrero has been a pioneer in ultrasonography for exotic animals, wildlife, and marine species, leading the first dedicated service of its kind across Spain, Europe, and multiple Latin American countries. In addition to her clinical work, she has been actively involved in teaching since 2017, serving as faculty in various postgraduate programs, diplomas, and master’s degrees, including at the European University.
A sought-after speaker, Dr. Angosto Guerrero has lectured at international conferences in London, Moscow, and numerous cities across Europe and Latin America. She is also the author of the Atlas of Ultrasonography in Exotic and Wild Animals and has co-authored two additional veterinary books.
Currently, she is completing her PhD at the Complutense University of Madrid, focusing her research on abdominal ultrasound in South Atlantic bottlenose dolphins.
